Week 9

Today looks like a good day to ski, even after the recent yo-yo weather swinging from the sublime to the ridiculous in no time at all.  All three mountains are open, Including M1. There isn’t any XC available.

Things go downhill , not in a good way, on Tuesday night. Wednesday is forecast to be a warm (high 51) and windy (44-48 mph). If the groomers do their usual thing the skiing will be great.

For now, our Wednesday meeting on the 28th at 9:00 in The Oak Room is on, but I will keep a beady eye on things and let you know by email & Facebook if things change.

Here’s hoping to see you Wednesday.

  1. Caveat Skier.

If the usually upbeat Hugh’s Views can only say”tomorrow is looking… how do I put this… ugly“, then what can I add?

Snow report says “Due to tonight’s and tomorrow’s weather, trail conditions could change dramatically. Check back tomorrow for updates

The forecast says “Showers likely, … . High near 58. Very windy, with a south wind 36 to 41 mph increasing to 45 to 50 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms

If you want to come to socialize, then I’ll see you there. Perhaps we can have breakfast.
