School Vacation Week

This week we generously let the rest of the world ski at our resort – and we lie low.
The club will not be meeting this Wednesday.

A new, member, has asked about group club trips, for example to skate the Rideau Canal through the heart of Ottawa.
Perhaps this might be a good year to revive the trips the club did in years past.
Think about it. I’ll get back to you.

The club is having a strong season with 297 attendees in seven weeks;  a nice up-tick from around 245 in the last two years.

It is not early to give thought to the end of season banquet. Do rat-out any incidents that your buddy might rather forget for this year’s Ski Tip Awards – or any other notable events. Your secret is safe with us. Maybe.

I had neglected to mention that Ski Patrol has named a recovery sled after George Macintosh – his name is prominently displayed.
If you wind up on this you will be in good hands.
