This is a 2-mile pleasant walk/hike in the woods – which seems like a good choice given Wednesday’s forecast in the 90s – with occasional distant views. Total elevation gain is 374 feet.

In general, it is a well-maintained trail but there are some roots and some ledge on the trail so you may want to bring poles (though Demie and Jean took a test run and managed fine without poles).

Note: The parking lot has spaces for 6-7 cars, so carpooling might be a good idea, though it appears you can park on the road as well.
