This week we will hike at Rock Point in Burlington. Trails | Burlington, VT | Rock Point

We will meet in the Leddy Park parking lot near the entrance to the bike path at 10:00AM on Wednesday, August 13. 

Rock Point offers over two miles of walking and hiking trails on 130 acres of privately owned and conserved land along the shores of Lake Champlain. 

This walk offers ample shade plus some beautiful views of Lake Champlain. Poles might be useful in some sections for those so inclined.

IMPORTANT: It will be hot on Wednesday. We suggest bringing water.

The trails are free and open to the public, but they do request hikers obtain a trail pass online before heading out (though Demie and I were unaware of that when we hiked there a couple weeks ago and no one asked us for a pass). Trail Pass | Rock Point

Note: In addition to the two mile hike at Rock Point, it is a half mile from the Leddy Parking lot along the bike path to get to the entrance of the Rock Point trails.
