Speaker Event – This Wednesday
Our third speaker is Erik Shonstrom, author of I Should Probably Have Brought a Tent (misadventures of a wilderness instructor).

- Lunch at 1:00 p.m.; speaker at 1:30 p.m.
- Bootleggers’ Lounge, Village at Smugglers’ Notch Resort
- Bring a resort-purchased or packed lunch
- Free for Smuggs 55+ Club members; suggested $5 donation for guests
- All ages welcome
On the 21st we will welcome Poppy Gall, co-chair of the Vermont Ski & Snowboard Museum who will be telling us about Vermont’s lost ski areas!
Proposed Field Trip – Vermont Ski Museum
Carol and Ann Fano are organizing a club trip to the Vermont Ski Museum, followed by lunch at the legendary Round Hearth Ski Dorm.
- Possible dates: Thursday, January 22 or 29
- The Round Hearth can reserve a room for us
- Museum requests a flexible $5 donation per person
