This week, we’re delighted to welcome Poppy Gall, co-chair of the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum, who will speak about Vermont’s lost ski areas. Many in the audience may remember some of them—does anyone recall the rope tow and ski jump in Jeff’ Village? Please meet in Bootleggers at 1:00 with your lunch; the talk will begin at 1:30.
On January 29, Ann and Carol Fano will lead a trip to visit the museum, followed by lunch at the Round Hearth. No RSVPs are needed. Meeting details will be shared soon.
Everyone traveling to Ottawa should have heard from the hotel by now. If you haven’t, please contact Heidi.
It’s been wonderful to see such strong attendance on Wednesday mornings, along with a steady stream of welcome newcomers. We’re looking forward to another good crowd next Wednesday, the 21st, at the Morse Grill. After a brief break from the cold, the forecast looks encouraging—continued snow and reasonably comfortable temperatures this week.
