We’re very excited to begin to open tomorrow and want to THANK ALL SMUGGLERS for your patience. We also want to thank all our hard-working Resort staff, especially Mountain Operations, as we have prepared the mountain to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all guests this season. Early season conditions very much exist with limited terrain so please take ‘er easy tomorrow. Here’s to a GREAT WINTER SEASON and, as I say, please respect the ways below we can all ski and ride safely tomorrow as well as all season!

1. Masks are required in the Base Lodges, Loading, and Unloading Zones – so don’t leave yours at home. We suggest bringing an EXTRA mask to switch out when you take your lunch break or when Mother Nature intervenes. Families might find it easiest to mask up on the side of trails before hitting the corals.

2. Use your vehicle as a base lodge. Boot up at your vehicle, pack a lunch, and dress warm – access to the Base Lodge will be limited.

3. Arrive together, ride together – ski and ride with a friend or family. Not only is this the single best way to replicate the Smuggs experience you have come to love, it helps keep everyone safe and allows us to take full advantage of our lift capacity.

4. Please respect ALL RESORT SIGNAGE in regards to safety and social distancing. This includes lift corrals, on the mountain, parking lots, lodges, warming huts, restaurants, shops, etc.

5. Last, but not least, please remember that ANYONE  traveling to Vermont must quarantine. The State of Vermont has suspended its leisure travel map and implemented a mandatory quarantine for anyone returning or traveling to Vermont. Learn more: https://www.healthvermont.gov/covid-19/travel-quarantine/visitors-vermontOur first priority this season – and every season – is the health and safety of our guests and staff. Thank you for putting these tips into practice this winter. We’re all in this together, and together, we will shine!
