The scourge is still with us. We have a handful of members who have come down with it. Most are not too badly affected.
Badges
We have found a new badge vendor, right in Morrisville, We have an order in and hope to have them available this Wednesday.
$10 each, with a captive pin fastener. I’ll post a picture when I have them in hand.
If you have lost a badge that had a magnetic clasp the club will replace it. You are on your honor.
The Resort is looking for help for the presidents week, both paid and volunteer
Another opportunity to get out of the four walls, break the daily routine, meet a wide variety of people and be active.

We are looking for help for President’s week.
We are in need of instructors for lessons, all day camps and the adaptive program. All of which are paid positions but if any of your folks want to just volunteer for their time we can make that work too.

Sledding Redux Redux
This is becoming a regular Thang.
Thursday February 16th meeting at 9:30 ish in the parking area by the road closure gate, just above Smuggs parking lot 1. Tony will bring a bunch of hammerhead sleds, so coming empty handed is fine. Bring a ski helmet. Give Tony a heads-up by text to 802-922-6337 if you expect to join us.
It’s supposed to be 52 degrees, so sledding will be slow and perfect for newbies that have been wanting to give it a try for the first time, or just get out for a walk in the Notch.
Everyone is welcome. We walk up the Smuggs side of 108 and then sled down the twisties towards Stowe.
Don’t follow Charlie unless you want to have lunch in Stowe. Or Waterbury. Or Ushuaia.
Miscellaneous
- The Oak Room will be available for socializing after the meeting – though bringing in your own food is not permitted.
- Supervised use of the Elevator is available for folks who are having a tough time with the stairs –
- The village lodge is sometimes available to us, but not reliably.
