All:
We have had a few days of just fantastic conditions, and as I write the snow-blower is doing double duty.
The forecast shows the snow will stick around with maybe a top-up on Tuesday or Wednesday.
St. Pat’s – March 15th …
Be There!
See below for details
End Of Season Banquet
- The Banquet is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday March 29th. I do not have any information on pricing yet.
As usual, we will ask folks to sign up and pay in advance.
Summer Activities
Our Esteemed board met last week.
- We are conducting our annual shake-down for door prizes from the usual most generous donors. If you know of anyone, or a business who would like to contribute in exchange for world-class publicity do pass along the tip. We will likely ask you to approach them.
- We will continue our alternating bike-rides & walks on Wednesdays, taking advantage of the newly completed Lamoille Valley Rail trail.
(Also, Andy Crossman is organising a celebration of the completion of the whole trail on Memorial Day, based in St Albans and extending to Cambridge. Details to follow.) - We expect to arrange four barbecue get togethers as we have done in past years.
Ski-Buddies & Après
If you are looking for someone to ski with, do make use of the club’s Facebook Page. Say where you will be and when and ask folks to reply in the comments. This is a great way to get to know folks better. If you are looking for someone in particular most folks have opted-in to the members directory, at this link. If you have difficulty getting into that page do let me know we will get it sorted out. It can be a pain – and I may do something completely different next year.
Folks continue to ask about Apres activity. I am looking into it. It may just be a “gather at some spot for agreed spot for coffee, brews, lunch & chat”. Let us know what you think.
See ya’ Wednesday
