Club member Andy Crossman is organizing an event to celebrate the completion of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail that is scheduled for Saturday, May 27 in St Albans.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) requires that the significant road crossings be manned that day, so Andy is looking for volunteers. He writes

“Volunteer crossing guards are needed 10-1pm mostly in E. Fairfield, and Sheldon. Cambridge is already covered. Once registered they are eligible for the free raffle drawing of $2000 for their choice of a bike at Bootlegger’s stores. I need the contact info – phone and email for any volunteers- ideally by April 17th so we can get our event permit.”
