It’s right around this time of year that I run out of smart a witty hooks.
You may well think I ran out a long time ago.

I received an email from Aaron Desrochers who wants to tell us that he is in the early stages of establishing a co-op that hopes to make an offer to buy the resort. He has created a website, www.smuggscoop.com where you can register your interest.

It remains cold (Duh!) with some lifts closing due to the wind and the cold.
Today all the lifts are open, including M1 and M2 and all but four of the trails.

The forecast for Wednesday is  for a high of 12°F, and breezy.
