First Ride JUNE 10th:
Meet at the Cambridge LVRT Trail Head in Cambridge at 10:00 on Wednesday, June 10th for a run to Johnson and back About 15 miles round trip. I’m suggesting we head into Johnson to Jenna’s Place for coffee/tea/water, snack or lunch, before heading back. The intrepid can of course go further (Morrisville would be about 30 miles round trip. Unfortunately, Lost Nation is closed on Wednesday).

First Walk JUNE 17th:
Our first club walk will be on Wednesday, June 17, at Cady Hill Foreston Route 108 in Stowe. We will meet in the parking lot at 10:00 AM.
We will be walking the Macutchan Loop trail shown in green on the map at this link: Cady_Hill_Forest_Trails.pdf
Website: Cady Hill Forest – Stowe Land Trust
It would be helpful to know in advance if you plan to join us. RSVP to: jean.kearney@verizon.net.
The walk is a bit more than 3 miles on clear trails through woodland with an elevation gain of 350 feet. There is some uphill at the start of the trail, but nothing too difficult. Our test walk took about 1 hour and 45 minutes at a fairly leisurely pace.
The Cady Hill trails are popular with mountain bikers, but we only saw about a half-dozen bikers during our walk, and we had no issues at all.
If you are a mountain biker, you can come for a ride while we walk.
We are planning to stop for lunch at Brewery after the walk. All are welcome to join us.
We will be in touch on Wednesday morning if the weather looks iffy.
Jean, Mary and Demie
