The end of season looms. A crusty frost, and the leaves’ final flamboyant curtain call, mark the changing seasons.
- This Wednesday, the 14th brings our last Bike Ride
- Next Thursday, the 22nd a joint Walk-Hike at Mt Philo state park closes our summer program.
- This Friday and Saturday, the 16th – 17th bring the annual Cambridge Area Rotary ski sale.
The tentative final paddle has been cancelled due to low water in the rivers and the cold and windy conditions expected on the lake.
Next year we expect to schedule four outings.

Airport Park has Free Parking and will save the hassle and cost of paid parking at Oakledge.
It’s 7.8 miles to our destination, making the round trip for this ride 15.6 Miles.

To end the season, we will be combining the walk and hike into one outing on Thursday, Oct 22 at Mount Philo State Park in Charlotte. There are several routes to the top, all of which are described as moderate. Alternatively, you can drive to the top!
